Traditional Sunday Worship   10:45 a.m.

Central Presbyterian Church takes time each week to worship God and to give thanks for our many blessings. While we encourage prayer and worship throughout our daily lives, we worship together on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. Our services are traditional in method, but have a wide range of musical styles. The service is structured with traditional liturgy including time for prayer, Scripture, sermon, children’s time, hymns, and special music. There are opportunities for all ages to praise and worship God.

Communion

This is also called the Lord's SupperHoly Communion or the Eucharist.  It's a time to renew faith and strengthen participants for the duties and privileges of Christian service.

In Communion, the bread and wine represent the sacrificial body and blood of Christ and recall the last meal shared with the apostles.  Together they symbolize the new covenant between God and all people.

The people are either served the bread and grape juice while sitting in the pews, or they come forward to receive the elements.

Presbyterians practice an open Communion table: All baptized Christians are welcome to participate, no matter what their  denomination is.
